Careers counselling 90 minutes sessions explores, and analysis individuals needs and requirements focusing on four main areas: self-awareness, opportunity awareness, transition management and decision making. In addition to the session itself, assessments are carried out to explore your interests and motivation, ability and skills, personality type and values. We also take into consideration health and personal circumstances.
The interview will give you realistic personal goals to follow. Relevant information and further contact points will be given on the personalised action plan. The action plan contains the results of the assessments, the session and links with contact information so that you can put into action the plan that has been discussed.

This is a focused session between of 1 hour looking at specific applications you may have to complete. These include Apprenticeships sessions, job application sessions and further education sessions.
• It will look to see if you are on target for your application to the organisation or for the job or course you are considering.
• It will examine your choice of courses or job role and their suitability.
• Specific advice on presentation of the application will be given. It will help you with providing evidence for a personal statement within the application.
• You will take away an advice sheet for reference or in the case of a specific application that will be completed.

One to one career sessions that take 90 minutes which will examine your position in the graduate market both locally and nationally.
• It will explore your graduate skills, aptitudes, abilities as well as your interests and personal circumstances through assessment and during the session discussion
• It will look at past academic achievement and consider how best to match these to the first-time graduate market.
• Discussion of further post graduate courses is included if required alongside details about courses and employability.
• Relevant employer, or training contacts and further action points will be included in the personalised action plan.
